Global Emergency Medics (GEM) was founded on the belief that the skills required to take charge in an emergency situation should be accessible to any individual, anywhere in the world. We strive to achieve this by providing the highest quality education and information necessary to be a leader in recognition, treatment, and prevention of wilderness emergencies. GEM offers courses across the world to uphold our mission that with a GEM education, no adventure is off limits. We aim to encourage exploration, giving those who venture into remote places the confidence, preparedness, and skills to ensure safety is at the backbone of their every journey. Our core team of professional instructors are experts in wilderness medicine, having extensive experience in both the back-country and patient care.
