Steam Sales Predictor

Steam Sales Predictor shows an estimate of how many copies a game has sold and how much revenue it made — right on its Steam store page.

When you open a game page on store.steampowered.com, a floating panel appears with:

- Number of reviews and percentage of positive ratings
- Genre detected automatically from the page's tags
- The Boxleiter multiplier applied (adjusted by genre)
- Estimated copies sold (minimum to maximum range)
- Estimated gross revenue
- Estimated net revenue for the developer (about 50% of gross, after Steam's cut, regional pricing and refunds)

The panel can be dragged and closed at any time.

How it works:
Estimates use the Boxleiter method, an industry standard that multiplies the number of public reviews by a genre factor and by the game's price. These are statistical estimates, not official sales figures. The typical margin of error is 30-50%.

Privacy:
This extension does not collect, store or send any data. All calculations happen locally in your browser, from information already visible on the page you are viewing. It works with Steam pages in Portuguese and English.
