Privacy Policy for LeanTabs

1. Data Collection
LeanTabs does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal data, browsing history, or user activity to external servers.

2. Data Storage
All data generated by the extension (Saved Sessions, Links, Whitelist configurations, Settings) is stored locally on your device using the browser's internal storage API (chrome.storage.local).

3. External Connections
The extension only connects to the internet for two specific purposes:
- To fetch the website title when you manually add a link via URL.
- To load favicons (website icons) from a standard service (Google Favicon Service) for display purposes in the dashboard.

4. User Rights
You have full control over your data. You can export your data (JSON format) or delete all stored data permanently via the extension's settings at any time. Uninstalling the extension will remove all locally stored data.
