Opera browser required.
Use this extension to disable/enable images on the current site.
It's a simple switch: click to disable, click to enable.
It works on "per host" basis and will disable images for the given host (the currently selected tab), not for all hosts.
There are some options available, but basically, the extension does just that and nothing more.
- This extension can manipulate settings that specify whether websites can use features such as cookies, JavaScript, and plug-ins
- This extension can access your tabs and browsing activity.

nattrill says:
It gets a bit confusing when swapping between tabs. It remembers which tabs had images on or off, but the button icon displays whatever the last clicked state was in any tab. So if I have images on in two tabs, click to turn them off in the first, then swap to the second, the button shows images off when images for that tab are on.
Also, it doesn't necessarily work with the tab I am on. The first time I use it, it works with the tab I am on (regardless of how many are opened). If I switch to a new tab and click, it continues to switch the previous tab, not the one I am looking at. This occurs until I open a new tab, then it only works on the new tab, and not any others.
I left this also on the forum, but realised there is a bug report here. https://forums.opera.com/discussion/comment/15169326#Comment_15169326

Thank you for reporting this bug! It looks like something went wrong while I ported the chrome extension to Opera ;-( I am working on this, hope to get it fixed soon.

I believe I found and fixed the bug. The new version is submitted and awaiting moderation (it should be online soon). Thanks again!
