Vetra

Vetra brings your own AdGuard Home instance into the browser toolbar. One click shows what was blocked for the page you are on – and lets you react right there, without opening the web interface.

WHAT THE EXTENSION DOES NOT DO
Nothing happens after installation. Vetra connects to nothing on its own and guesses no addresses. You enter your instance yourself – or let Vetra look for it on your home network at the press of a button; only then does the browser ask for permission. After a search Vetra takes the broad permission back right away, leaving only that one address. Every grant can be revoked individually.

There is no vendor server, no analytics, no advertising. The extension reads no page content, no forms, no bookmarks and no history, and changes nothing on pages. From the open tab it reads only the host names of the files the page loads – and asks nobody but your own instance about them. It talks only to the address you entered.

NOTE
The query log only shows what actually resolves through AdGuard Home. If your browser uses DNS-over-HTTPS directly, it stays empty – and the extension says so. Because the query log knows nothing about pages, "This page" reads the host names of the files the page loads from the tab and checks each one with your instance – so you also see blocked third-party domains such as a CDN. Anything a page only loads later may be missing.
