TimeWasted Privacy Policy Last updated: August 20, 2026 TimeWasted is a browser extension that tracks the amount of time users spend on websites. Data collected TimeWasted may process the following information locally in the user's browser: - Website domains of open tabs. - Time spent on websites. - Dates and timestamps related to website activity. - Statistics, achievements, ranks and settings generated by the extension. - User-created backup data when using the export and import features. How data is used This data is used solely to provide the functionality of the extension, including time tracking, statistics, achievements, ranks and related features. Data storage All TimeWasted tracking data is stored locally in the user's browser using browser storage. TimeWasted does not operate a server for storing user statistics. Data sharing TimeWasted does not sell, rent or share users' tracking data with third parties. TimeWasted does not send users' website usage statistics to external servers. No account is required to use the extension. Data export and deletion Users can export their TimeWasted data as a backup and import it later. Users can delete their tracked data and achievements using the extension's data management features. Changes to this policy This privacy policy may be updated when the functionality of TimeWasted changes. Any updated version will be published with a new revision date.
