Description
On any page, select the text with mouse and click the button. When popup window opens, you can type the text that should replace the selection. Later on every webpage you open this text will be replaced. Except replacing the text, this extension can replace URL and redirect you. URL replacement rule is created from the text in address bar if you check the box "URL". Besides, URL replacement rules can be imported from "HTTPS Everywhere", so you'll be redirected on secure versions of sites: google, youtube, facebook, wikipedia and 3000 others.
This extension works on Opera 11.10 and higher.
Options:
-If you check the box "for this site", the text will be replaced only on pages of current site.
-If you check the box "URL", the text will be replaced in address bar, and you'll be redirected.
-If you check the box "Suspend", the replacements will stop.
-The option "case sensitive" applies to selected text.
-You can use JavaScript regular expressions in the field "You selected the text".
-The badge and the tooltip show the replacements made on current page.

what parameter is g/gm on {"opti":"g","valu":"http://"}?
would be nice to get more examples like
{"site":"heise.de->URL","key":"http://www.heise.de/ct/schlagseite/.*/.*/$"} {"opti":"g","valu":"gross.jpg"}
{"site":"*->URL","key":"http://.*http://"} {"opti":"g","valu":"http://"}Jan. 14, 2014 - Version 3.35 -

Brilliant and useful extension, thanks.
But Regex makes my brain hurt (even after your examples, and the link to a JS Regex page): could you help me with some URL copy'n'paste code please?
I'd like to strip the prepended ad.doubleclick.net redirect from URLs like these (I think it's clear which parts are the stable root, and which change with each URL) :-
http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;242993839;66679855;o?http://www.tesco.com/groceries/zones/default.aspx?name=ramadan
I tried experimenting with wildcards, and escaping the question mark to use it as the end of string marker, but I just caused it to go into an infinite loop ;).
And if possible (which I fear it may not be), this one too. Redirecting, e.g. :-
http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2F10ws.co%2F16007g1&h=xAQEerLFk&s=1
To :-
http://10ws.co/16007g1
But it would need to de-URLencode the second URL, (and strip the appended crud beginning &h= ), which I'm guessing would take some major Regex fu?
Hope you can help. Thanks again for the great extension :).

How to add vk.com to https redirecting?

@thejusticierbit, the extension doesn't replace non-uniform text, i.e. mixed ordinary, bold and links.
@quangltm, I'm not going to add replacement of text with HTML. It will require too many code modifications and will cause performance issues and maybe some errors. Presently the extension works very fast and without any issues, isn't it enough?
@sidmeyer, open http://vk.com and then add the redirection as shown on this screenshot:

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Thanks for the "per-site" option!

Yes, I think it enough. For some "html case", I can use UserJS. Thank for your extensions

You need to use https://www.eff.org/files/https-everywhere-3.4.5.xpi for the rule extraction now since they changed the format and setup of the newer extensions. I assume to push their own HTTPS version for the Opera Chrome botnet reskin.
