Tired of the profanity littering the Internet? PageScrubber helps you get it under control. With its large default list of blocked obscenities, you can erase or replace swear words. If the core list isn't enough, you can modify it with the Whitelist and Blacklist features. PageScrubber also lets you completely block pages containing {x} blocked words. If you want to leave a site untouched by PageScrubber's profanity filter, you can add it to the "unfiltered" list.
If you encounter bugs, words that aren't blocked that should be blocked, or words that were blocked that should not have been blocked, please submit them to the PageScrubber issues page.
If you have suggestions, either include them in your review, shoot me a message on My Opera, or send me an email: dev +at+ cyberstream +dot+ us

Possible upcoming features:
- Toolbar button that shows whether site is filtered. Clicking the button would toggle the status.
- Move the core blocked word list from inside the extension to a remote repository so it can be modified without having to upload a whole new version of the extension.
- Usage stats reporting...maybe?
- This extension can modify or add functionality to one or more websites.

He's implemented the blacklist using Regular Expressions (RegEx).
Even if you can't read RegEx, it shouldn't be hard to figure them out from here.

One man's food is another man's poison. What I might find acceptable could be offensive to someone else. Make these changes for 5 stars!
1) As per Tulba2's suggestion, provide default swear lists. Let the users pick multiple lists to filter.
2) Allow the user to create their own list with their own words. You've implemented custom words which is great but allow list functionality.
#1 and #2 can be used for localization as well. For example, a list could contain just french swear words (see netmain's comment) so you can essentially kill two birds with one stone.May 17, 2012 - Version 1.1.1 -

Rating: 5Very nice to censore words like '|►ZENSIERT◄|' so |►CENSORED◄| :D
btw Why you block o-m-g & w-t-f (without '-')? There's no list to see what is blocked!

Rating: 5Overall, works just great!
Perhaps a better implementation of the actual filtering would be to have a "Religious" filter, which when enabled allows certain religious (particularly Christian) terms through (which did not used to be swear words, and refer to specific theological things, ex. damnation = hell).
Also, if you do add a toolbar button, it would be nice if we could click it directly (or right-click it or something) to get to the preferences page. Right now it's a pain to have to go through all the menus to get there.

Great extension catches most offensive words.
Has trouble with select variations on correct spelling. It can not filter a bad words containing an asterisk. An example is the four letter word that starts with 'sh', followed by '*' and ending with 't'.
